As individuals, we face thought-provoking questions every day of our lives. These are all opportunities to give thought a problem, analyze it, and hopefully gain knowledge. However, how much attention and thought is dedicated to each of these questions depends on the individual. This, in my opinion, has a direct relationship to how "smart" a person is considered. A though-provoking question can be a Physics problem, a historical question, a question about life, and more. A person that assumes an attitude of not paying much attention to all these questions is bound to not analyze his or her surroundings enough. Analyzing is the base of knowledge, because if I were to accept everything as I hear it and ignore anything that requires thinking and analyzing, my opinion and knowledge about any topic in life would be of very little weight.
