If you look at my music library, the majority of it will be rap. You will think all I like is rap, but that's not true. Yes my favorite  genre is rap but the reason for that is because rap is the genre that has the most emotion. That's what I like about music; emotion. I hate most of the pop songs because the songs sound like drivatives of one another, but rap, it expresses the feelings of not just the rapper, but the the generation as a whole. Aside from rap I love soul music. Otis Redding hits the spot everytime I'm feeling down; his voice is just so powerful and his lyrics are, of course, full of emotion. I also listen to some alternative, some electronic, some R&B, and a lot of classical rock. When I listen to music I want to feel; I want all of my emotions to merge and create an experience while I'm listening. So yeah, I don't like to restrict myself to one genre, I'm open to anything that gets me to introspect.
