Going off to college is something that is very difficult for many parents to grasp. Parents love their children and letting go of them is something that cannot be described in words. A parent’s child becomes part of their everyday life, the child becomes a part of his or her parent. From seeing their child 24/7 it goes to phone calls and maybe skype calls if the child has enough time. They will come to miss that child a lot, yet they can do nothing about it because they know that she is studying and working on their future.

As for that child’s sibling the attention grows on those brothers and sisters still living in the house. Parents grow tougher on the other children, because they have to tell one less child what to do. Instead of dividing their attention into four children, they now divide their attention in three children. It is not easy being a parent knowing that you sacrifice your whole life for each and every one of your children.
