I still can not believe this day has come, the last Friday of senior year. The last Friday we have to blog post, the last Friday ever we will be given ten minutes to write a "Free Write Friday." It feels like yesterday when I first came in Mrs. Erickson's classroom four years ago in freshmen year. I remember I was scared, my peers were used to reading and writing and were extremely good at it. I came from a school were I was not taught how to write, I had never written an essay before. Fortunately, I had an amazing dedicated teacher that took the time to teach me how to write, patiently. It brings me great joy to say that that teacher was Mrs. Erickson, the one that taught me how to write and the one that awaken in me the pleasure of writing. It was amazing to learn how to write in ninth grade in the same classroom that this year I wrote every single day in. Thank you Mrs. Erickson, thank you for such an amazing class. Your inspiring comments and warm heart inspired all of us in Writing class to be ourselves and to open up to each other every time we came into your classroom. Together, we created a bond as a class. A bond that writing held together. A bond that I hope will hold us together, in our thoughts. I hope all of us remember this class with great happiness. I know I will. Thank you all for such an amazing year!
