Throughout my blog posts and writing in class, I have used the term "to be honest" too many times. I’ve always felt like the emotions and situations I have written about wouldn't have been legit if I didn't say to be honest. So here are all the legit emotions I am feeling as I write my last blog post about leaving, like Ms. Erickson wrote, "those monotonous moments".
To be honest I'm excited high school is almost over.
To be honest no other place could replace my little beautiful island.
To be honest nothing will beat the food from PR (shout out to Pollo Tropical and los kioskos de Luquillo).
To be honest I won't miss taking math class.
To be honest I will miss taking Writing.
To be honest I will miss Ms. Erickson.
To be honest I will miss Ms. Erickson's cool outfits, life stories, and cute baby belly.
To be honest I will miss listening to Richard's saints of the day and prompt numbers. I will miss witnessing Monica's amazing talent of writing in such a simple, but yet beautiful way. I will miss Anna's use of figurative language that makes more sense than Mr. Valentin's Pre-calc. lesson. I will miss Tati's rants and Pablo's chill but yet deep responses to the day's prompt. I will miss Sari's laughs and Enyxa's "blow your mind" kind of writing. I will miss all of you, because you are all great!
To be honest I will miss that connection that we all had just because we were given 10 minutes ever day, to write, to convey, to make memories and remember them.
To be honest I will miss, I will miss, I will miss.
To be honest thank you all for making me realize how much I will miss.
And last but no least, to be honest I wish you all the best.
