Scene opens in Cmdr. Shepard’s quarters aboard the Everest. He sits on a chair while he cleans one of his pistols.

Officer 1 - “ Commander Shepard, Admiral Frost has requested you on the V-Comm”

Cmdr Shepard - “I’ll be right there”

Cmdr. Shepard passes the main bridge of the Everest. Walks past the observation deck and makes his way to the communication room. He steps onto the V-Comm and a hologram of Admiral Frost appears.

Cmdr. Shepard - “Admiral, is there anything wrong?”

Adm. Frost - “Not anything serious for now, I just need you to swing the Everest past the Polarus fleet in the Equus system. I think there’s something suspicious going on in one of their ships but I’m not really sure what. Our intel says that there’s a scientist on board who’s been experimenting on fixing the software of the droids on board the ship and even though nothing has gone wrong yet, I have a feeling it will. And when it does I want you to be there with your team to keep it under control.”

Cmdr. Shepard - “Well if you say so sir, I’ll have the captain steer us towards the Equus system and I’ll check everything out once we arrive.”

Adm. Frost - “Aye aye Shepard, be careful out there. Frost out.”

Cmdr Shepard walks off the V-Comm and makes his way towards the bridge and onto the captain’s deck.

Cmdr. Shepherd - Pike, we just got orders from Admiral Frost and we need to head towards the Equus system and meet up with the Polarus fleet.

Capt. Pike - Yes sir, let me just set up the location on the star map and we’ll go into hyperdrive.

Pike puts in some information onto various screens set in front of him as he sits on the helm of the Everest. He then presses a few buttons and thrusts the throttle to his left initiating the hyperdrive. A few hours later, the Everest arrives at the Equus system and meets up with the Polarus fleet. At that moment Pike announces to the ship their arrival and Shepard and his crew begin to get ready. Shepherd’s crew consists of three members all of different species. Grunt - The warrior of the group. His race’s name is the Geth. They are all tall and big beings, standing at over 7’ and weighing close to 1000 lbs.

Garret - The sharpshooter. He is one of few of his race left, they are known as the Prometheans. He stands at around 6’ 5” tall and weighs in close to 250 lbs.

Legion - The tech savvy member of the group. His race, known as the Econos, are known for their extraordinary technological breakthroughs. He is the shortest of the group standing at 6’ and weighing close to 180 lbs.

Cmdr. Shepard - Alright team, we’re here to investigate one of the ships of this fleet, I don’t think there’s much to worry about but we’re going to talk to the commander of the main ship in order to see if anything has gone wrong.

The rest of the team - Yes, sir.

Cmdr Shepard and his team walk onto the Polarus’ fleet’s main ship, here they are greeted by the commander of the fleet.

Cmdr. Nole - Commander Shepard, you’re finally here. Admiral Frost had told me you might visit soon. However, he did not really tell me the purpose of your visit, and seeing as how your on my fleet, I would like to know.

Cmdr. Shepard - Well Commander, we heard that there are some experiments going on in one of your ships as to the software on some droids. We’re just here to check that everything is going smoothly.

Cmdr. Nole - I have no knowledge of this, but I must admit I’m glad you’re here because we have recently lost communication with one of our ships. And it may just have to do with the droids you speak of.

Cmdr. Shepard - Well I guess we arrived at the right time. My team and I will go check it out and see if everything is okay.

Cmdr. Nole - Go right ahead Commander, you’re welcome to do as you please.

Cmdr. Shepard and his team salute Cmdr. Nole and return to the Everest. Once aboard, Pike docks the Everest, into another one of the fleet’s ships. Upon their arrival, Cmdr. Shepard and his team check their guns and ammunition to make sure they have everything.

Cmdr. Shepard - Remember team, check your corners and remember to be careful with any civilians in the area.

The team makes their way onto the other ship. Everything seems normal but everything is very quiet.

Garrett, Grunt, and Legion - Clear.

The team proceeds and stumbles upon an open corridor. On the floor there are several bodies.

Grunt - Bullet holes. Something shot and killed these people.

Cmdr. Shepard - Okay team, from now on consider everything that moves hostile.

The team keeps moving around the ship. They go into another part of the ship and here they see some movement.

Legion - movement on the left commander.

Cmdr. Shepard - acknowledged. everyone eyes open.

Suddenly a droid pops up, it;s holding a gun and begins to shoot at the team.

Grunt - Hostile, at 12 o’clock

The team shoots at the droid and then another droid came up and starting shooting. Then another and then another.

Cmdr. Shepard - Keep shooting team don’t let up.

After shooting their way through the corridor the team enters a room. Here they find a body on the floor in front of a desk. Cmdr. Shepard checks the body and finds an id.

Cmdr. Shepard - It’s the scientist who was making the improvements on the software. Clearly something went wrong. Legion check the computer to see what you can find.

Legion checks the computer and finds a daily diary which accounts the trials of the scientist’s experiments.

Legion - There’s a journal. It reads that testing was going fine but records suddenly stopped two days ago.

Cmdr. Shepard - Well that tells us when this all started. Let’s check out how we can stop all this.

Legion - I think I know how. we can go towards the computers on the mainframe and infect the droids with a virus to render them useless.

Cmdr. Shepard - That sounds like a plan, lets make it to the mainframe and get this done.

The team makes it way out of the room and into one of the corridors. They go up stairs and find their way to a room. In this room there are about two dozen or more droids.

Grunt: Multiple targets 12 o’clock! Take cover!

A major shootout ensues. Bullets and lasers are flying all over the place. Explosions are heard and seen in the corridor. The team slowly shoots its way to the mainframe. Legion makes his way to the computer and begins to hack the mainframe. Grunt and Garrett move towards the door in order to make sure no one gets through. A loud beep is heard as Cmdr. Shepard looks over and sees the computer screen turn red.

Legion - Sir, the computer is trying to lock me out of the ships mainframe, it’ll take some more time to complete the hack but I can get it done.

Cmdr. Shepard - Alright then, I guess we’ll have to hold them off for just a bit longer, just try to do it as fast as you can.

The sound of gunfire has not ceased and Grunt and Garrett are busy outside shooting at the rest of the droids.

Legion - Sir, I’m through, it should be only a matter of minutes as the droids are rendered useless.

The team takes cover and waits for the droids to simply drop. After some minutes they do and the team stands and looks around to see that everything is ok. They search for survivors, but no one is found. The team then makes its way to the Everest where they settle in. Pike separates the Everest from the now vacant ship and sets a course to leave the Equus system. The screen slowly fades to black as the Everest goes into hyperspeed.
