Listen to the Ocean

The young girl sat the steps of her intergalactic spaceboat, ISB Miemi (which was supposedly named after some country her ancestors emigrated from), ready to jump into Gulee Bay, the most radiant and beautiful beach in Ipos-4781, which was her family's favorite vacation-planetoid in System Gemini-9091. She put on her goggles, and with it she scanned the bay for any toxins and radioactive isotopes. Convinced that it was safe, the young girl slid into the water and began making her journey to shore.

Once on the beach, she began her sandy adventure by deploying all her favorite toys. The Compus-Y holed up the beach by creating sandballs and neatly stacking them atop eachother. In all honesty, though, this was a toy much preferred by her brother, and she disliked its invitations of war. Her mother had just bought her the latest Xaller-XCS, and the brand new robot immediately began constructing a 12-bedroom, 36-bathroom sand castle featuring a pergola walkway, topiary garden, and a revolving rooftop at the very top. The young girl's favorite toy, however, was the QT-Tron, which scanned and combed the beach sand to locate and dig up seashells.

Today, she set her QT to find conch shells. With an ebullient face and unbridled joy, she eagerly picked up the first shell it brought her, put her ear to its opening, and listened to the ocean of the conch, despite being right in front of one in real life.
