I sit here writing about why, for some reason, I have no wirting to contribute to this year's "Perception Perfiles." Its a Saint John's classic that I would have loved to be part of. When Ms. Erickson told us to look through our previous works and choose which one we wanted to add to this book, I knew I was doomed. Throughout all of my senior year, I have not written a single poem or short story during our ten minute writing period. Not one. Nada. I looked through my notebook, page after page, and failed to see a single poem in it. I have some very good writing in there, don't get me wrong. However, it's not the type that fits this book well; and I won't contribute any of my literary criticisms. But hey, at least I posted something nice on the blog.
