I am a Puerto Rican Jew

No, other way around, I am Jewish Puerto Rican

I am, Jewish, part Puerto Rican, part Polish, part Russian, and part Cuban

To keep it simple, I’m just a Jewish Puerto Rican

I have an American Jewish father born in Mexico

And a Jewish Puerto Rican mother

Challah with butter and arroz con habichuelas

No chuleta for me

But bacalaitos from Piñones will do

The beach, sun, and palm trees

Shorts, tank tops, and bathing suits all year round.

What are the holidays without parrandas?

Bubble machines instead of snow during winter in Plaza de Las Americas

I have really learned to love my little island
