Today is our final game. Against Bonneville.
You see, Saint John's and Bonneville have a longstanding rivalry.
*Flashback to 7th grade, in the gym*
The court was a bloodbath. Monica was slammed against the wall. As she struggled to stand up, dazed from the impact, Patricia, her mother, stood up and screamed at the refiree in outrage. She was then kicked out. I was then pinned to the floor and elbowed to death.
*Back to present*
Ever since we got beaten to a pulp by them, a rivalry between our two teams has only grown stronger and stronger. Almost every year, we face them in the finals.
See, they're so violent that this morning my mother said that Robinson probably lost to them because Annelisse (number 11) (ghetto name, I know) threatened to stab the best player if they won.
So if we don't come to school tomorrow, you all know why.
But it's okay, because no matter what, we're going to win.
