People say I am shy, friendly, nice but also loud.
I know I am observant, organized and respectful.

I know how I am but what am I?

Am I American? Puerto Rican? Both?
I can speak both Spanish and English,
But my language is Spanglish.

I cannot stop my hips from dancing
I listen to salsa and regetton.
I love to sing a tune. 
I am loud.

I may be Puerto rican but I am unique. 
The word Puerto rican is different to all,
But to me, is the dancing spirit inside me.
Good food, people, music, and spirit.

I am Puerto Rican and what? I am proud!
