Basketball has been part of my life since I was in fourth grade. When I first tried out for it, I remember anxiously waiting for the list of new team members to be posted on the bulletin board. I still remember how excited I felt when I saw my name included on the bottom of the list. Over the years, I have seen how the team has grown with new members and how we lost some along the way. I have seen how the team has improved from one year to the next. It is not only the game I love the most, it is the laughs and the tears, and the memories made with teammates and friends. We had our first game of the season a couple of days ago. This game was the very last time we would have our first game as a team, in SJS. It is very hard to think that there will be no more after the season is over. Winning our first game was a huge relief, specially beating our longtime rivals. This season, we are going to make it count!
