How can we have the audacity to call any poem bad?

Sure, some people may have poor word selection (guilty), but why would that make their poetry bad?

Why do we feel so entitled as to call someone's work of art worthless?

Why do we feel we have the right to criticize someone, for sharing their thoughts, their feelings, their sentiments?

How can we expect to know exactly what that author is trying to transmit through his or her art?
