The holidays have arrived and the mood is rather festive around school. Everyone is excited that we are going on vacation in just one week and a half. Decorations around school have everyone filled with the holiday spirit. As for the seniors, we’re are the most anxious of them all. Many begin to receive their early application responses from colleges which makes them worry just a bit. Even more so, those who have not sent out applications are trying to get everything done before winter break, so we don’t have to do any college work during our well-deserved vacations. First semester senior year has been one hell of a ride. Reality struck all of us right around October when college applications were starting to be filled out and some even sent. We began to know each other much more than we had all of high school, which has changed us into one big family. It’s great to see how we have begun to support each other on our roads to college. For those receiving good news these holidays about their future, it’s time to party! And if you didn’t, go party too because you need to forget about it. Soon enough we’ll all be college bound and many of us will barely talk again, this is why we need to spend time with each other in the semester we have left.
