Writer's Block (Sort of?)

I don't know what to write about.
I am most busy lately with mundane thoughts of numbers and statistics.
It seems the creative side in my brain has been clogged with mathematical formulas and random facts about the freshmen housing of universities.
I guess it's not so bad to be too busy for abstract thoughts of philosophy and astrology, seeing as though when I do have too much time for contemplation, I begin to overthink, and that's not a good thing, either.
I resort to focusing on what's right in from of me at the time, be it a project or a paper or an essay. Besides, if I focus on just today, the day passes by faster and before I know it, I'm on vacation.
But the point is, I'm starting to think my writing has gotten a bit more literal (no pun intended) than figurative and philosophical as it was before.
I just don't know if it's because me creative juices just aren't flowing as they used to.
