Finding the beauty in something you hate...

Posted by Annika Schroder on November 18, 2014 at 4:35 PM

We all tend to have a form of hatred toward something, or someone, at least once in our life. Yet, you can look at this from a different perspective. For someone else, that thing you hate may be what they love most. The beauty in knowing that you hate something or someone, whatever or whoever it may be, lies in the fact that there is someone else in the world that appreciates and cherishes that exact same thing. You might hate that teacher that says bullshit in class, but maybe that teacher is what motivates others to go to school. The sound of thunder and the strike of lightning might make you anxious and uncomfortable, but to others it may serve as a calming force, and could even be their muse. You would never think that what you hate most could be the exact opposite for someone else, but that just goes to prove that the beauty in everything and everyone lies in the eyes of the beholder.
