Throwback to first grade. it was a beautiful Saturday morning, and my mom's Honda Odyssey was speeding down the highway to Luquillo. The back seat was occupied by my best friend, Anna (turns out she wasn't my best friend because she snitched on me and got me grounded about two weeks later) and me. We were happily chewing this gum my mom gave us (each different flavors) until Anna seemed dissatisfied. She looked at me, and said, "Switch gums with me"

"Ew" I replied

"It's totally normal, I do it all the time with other people"

"No"

"Pleaaasseeee"

"Fine"

And so I was peer pressure into switching gums with my "best friend", which, in retrospect, was extremely disgusting. To this day, Anna still has this nasty habit, at times forcing her boyfriend to eat the gum she doesn't want anymore.
