I caused an ache in your heart

so I could feel the one in mine.

I ripped away what you thought you knew,

I burned away the former image you had of me.

Hell, I burned away the former image I had of myself.

I ran away from being scared,

from being liked.

I ran away from you.

I ran away from her and her and him.

I ran away from me.

But while I was running

I came across something different.

Something that tasted so sweet,

and felt so painful...

felt so addicting.

I was never the girl people thought me to be.

You thought me to be.

I did it becasue it would have killed me if I didn't/

I did it because I wanted to.
