Teachers. What would we ever do without them? They are the foundation to our existence. How would we ever learn what we need to succeed for the future? Teachers not only teach. They inspire people to move forward in life. Without them there is no future. It is sad the payment they receive compared to a baseball or basketball player. Why should they earn less than the people they help create? I want to be like Ms. Erickson who inspired little Estiven in 6th grade. Little did she know he would turn out successful and helped join one of the little threads to help make Estiven a successful person. I want to not only teach but also inspire. I wish to be a teacher to help change this world a little at a time.
