Looking at this photo reminds me of all the good times when had in elementary. Those moments where the most difficult homework was multiplying 7 times 6 or when we could eat “arroz con habichuelas”, a brownie, and a coke every single day and nobody judged. Those times were great memories that I hope never to forget when I leave my second home, Saint John’s School. I love this picture because it shows our whacky selves, with light-up sneakers, in our favorite place, the library, but wasn’t to pick out a book; It was for the excitement of raising your hand quickly to see if Ms. Elizabeth picked you to knock on the treasure chest three times to find out what was inside. Pictures are really worth a thousand words. I can look at this picture and think about “a thousand” different memories it reminds me of. What I really want to say is we cannot throw away pictures. We really should save them and treasure them. They are the closest things we have to going back in time. Although some memories we get from them may be bad, they are still important because each photo represents a little part of who we have become today we should be proud of .
