Wrote It Post New Entry

Gate

Last Friday I did something that i thought i would never do; something that could get me into serious trouble if i were to be caught. So it all started after school when i was driving back home. I got stuck into some heavy traffic. Usually, this type of traffic isn't annoying since i have to go through it every single week day. In a way, i have gotten immune to it. However, this time it was different. It got me mad. This may have happened because i was extremely tired from the long week and just wanted to go home and take a nap; a nap which the traffic was not allowing me to take. Finally, i passed the traffic and arrived to the gate of my neighborhood. Last friday was one of the days in which there are no guards at the gate. Instead, if you want to enter, you have to press the speaker button and talk to someone who is in some office very far away. After i gave the person my name and stated where i was going, he let me in. Then, for some strange reason, the gate opened but the pole did not go up so i couldn't pass. Now i was mad. I waited about thirty seconds to see if the pole would go up but it didn't. So i decided to do what i've always wanted to do but never really got the chance to. I accelerated my car and rammed through the pole, breaking it along with its hinges. I was finally able to get to my house and nap.

Woah! Confession! And I admit I have always wanted to do that too...
The suspense you create here is effective, but it ends a little flat. I want to know what you felt as you came to the gate the next morning?
