Did you think about me when we were not?

For me it's all the same,

I thought of you when we were and I thought of you when we were not.

I thought of you all throughout.

I wonder if you meant it when you said you loved me,

Or when you said you cared.

Sometimes I think you did, but then that could be me wishing that you did.

So I must ask,

Did you think about me when we were together?

When it was over,

I tried so hard to convince myself I didn't care.

But no matter what, in the end I know I did,

Did you think about me when we were not?

Whether you were here or there,

For me it's all the same.

You filled my thoughts and clouded my judgment,

You took over my mind.

I thought of you when we were and I thought of you when we were not.

I guess I blame you for a lot of things,

But I don't blame you for one:

I let my thoughts revolve around you.

It's what I did,

I thought of you all throughout.
