Some people graduate high school already decided on what they want to do with their lives; others, like me, are merely discovering the latter. I don’t have an exact plan for what I want to do with my life and for a long time it's been something that has really frightened me. However, I’ve discovered that perhaps, it’s okay not to know, it's okay to be unsure of where we're going and that it's okay to leave room for spontaneity and surprises. Right now we're entering a new stage of our lives, a new chapter. Come fall, we'll be living on our own in a new city, a new home and everything will be different. We'll be presented with different situations and we'll experience different things that will eventually shape us into the people we are meant to be. Our choices will define us and though we will make mistakes, in the end what will really matter, is that we are able to learn from those mistakes. That is what will allow us to grow as people.
