After spending a summer in Israel I returned to Puerto Rico with a different outlook on life. Everyone in Israel or maybe everywhere but America does not understand the need to rush through life. If they want to take a year off before college they can do it, if they have to spend four years in the military before even applying to college there is no problem because there is no rush. Many of my peers, including myself, are always trying to be one step ahead of the game. We are always looking for the next step but we never really give ourselves the time to enjoy now.
