The Flying DUtchman from SpongeBob was Kvon's favorite ghost. He liked many ghosts, but this one in particular was his favorite. He decorated his room with pictures of the Flying Dutchman, and even wrote letters to him. He was obsessed.

So obsessed, in fact, that he went searching for Davy Jones' Locker to find the Flying Dutchman. But, as he SCUBA dove to Bikini Bottom, he got lost in the Kelp forest, where he found a magic conch.

"Is the Flying Dutchman nearby?" asked Kvon.

"Dude, he's a ghost. Ghosts don't exist" replied the conch.

Instantly, his big, beautiful, brown eyes began to shed tears. So many, in fact, that he drowned in his SCUBA suit. Now, his ghost wanders the Kelp forest aimlessly. But he's happy, because if he's a ghost, chances are the Flying Dutchman exists.
