This week the student council decided to do a Spirit Week. Today was “Twin Day.” Amanda and I decided to dress up as twins. However, since we didn’t have time to go shopping and buy a cute outfit, we decided to look in our closets. I came up with the idea of wearing jerseys and jeans, but Amanda came up with another idea. Since she is a little bit obsessed with basketball, she was thinking of dressing up as basketball players. I immediately agreed because it sounded comfortable and cute. Little did I know that she also wanted me to wear her pair of basketball shoes. I have never in my life worn basketball shoes, and besides I admit that they do not look good on me. They are way off my style. If I go to school with those shoes, I will definitely be “forever alone.” I was able to convince Amanda that I was not going to wear those shoes with the outfit. After much insisting, she conceded to my decision.
