It is often said that not knowing is the worst feeling in the world. The thing is we spend our whole lives wondering what the future holds for us. We picture scenes about what we wish would happen in the future. We see ourselves with a new lover or perhaps living the life we’ve always dreamed of. We think we have everything figured out. The funny thing is: we don’t. The future is always changing. We never know what life has planned out for us. It will surprise us sometimes. Some things don’t end up how we envisioned them. The future doesn’t always go our way. It has twists and sometimes it ends up being much better than we expected, other times it throws us a curve ball. The future holds our fears, our hopes, our dreams, but what’s scary about it is that we do not know what waits for us. At the end of the day, life will surprise us and our future will be entirely different from the one we imagined.
