Wrote It Post New Entry

The Equinox

Posted by Dez P. on August 30, 2013 at 2:50 PM

You forgot.

I left the door open.

Meet me at the Equinox.

Our eyes danced in silhouettes of lavender blazon skies

Becoming intoxicated in tinged heavens of wine

Bodies bathed in burning orchards and breathless lips

Arms laced tighter than romance wrapped in crimson

You remember.

I left the door open.

Meet me at the Equinox.

Sentence I liked:
(I'm stuck between)

Bodies bathed in burning orchards and breathless lips
and
Arms laced tighter than romance wrapped in crimson

l am facinated by how sometimes a word makes us focus on a concept that makes us think in bigger concepts. Equinox is not the most common of words to find inspiration in.
