'This wasn't what I wanted, not what I chose'
But then again, no one has ever been able to constrain a heart.
I know it's not fair. This desire, this wanting you feel. I see it in your gaze, in your touch. I see it in the way you can't stay away, or how you automatically search for the familiar silhouette, body.
The arm lightly dusted with hair you want to run your fingertips down. The eyes you want to confidently look into without the feeling that you are doing something wrong. They all mock you.
And you put up your front like its some coy play, or mindless flirtation, deluding yourself like 'it's okay, it doesn't mean anything', but you don't fool. The heart knows your lies, your heart defies and spits on them.
You are transparent. I can see you, right through you. I know what you truly want. What your heart truly wants.
What we truly want.
And what I want, I get.
