Stream of Consciousness

When I was 7 what did I think of? What worries did I have? Looking back to my childhood years brings me great happiness. I remember going to Caro's house and running to her park to get star fruit. Wow did I love star fruit! I was so amazed with it. We would always get the fruit from an old ladies backyard who would end up yelling at us when she would catch us (basically every time). Oh yeah! I remember one time when Caro and I pretended to me detectives and we observed everything. We literally observed everything. From rusty mailboxes to dead frogs we were always ready to find clues. Wow did we have fun!

My childhood days were a blast! If we were bored we would just think of something crazy to do. I remember one time when Steph, Caro and I jumped in the mud under Caro’s trampoline. We began to bathe ourselves in mud but then suddenly Caro’s mom caught us. I will never forget the anger in her eyes. As we were throwing the mud we didn't notice that we were slowly ruining the garden she had been working on for a long time. For some reason I ruined a lot of things in Caro’s house. I broke her mom’s favorite Christmas ornament; her mom’s favorite table decoration and her sisters dance skirt. When I compare my childhood years to those of my cousins I always say that mine were filled with more excitement and happiness. Although I regret some things I did as I was growing up, there are moments that always bring me great joy.
