I stared at the back of your head again

I wasn’t the only one

I guess they all feel this way

But I’m not one to be outdone

It hurts sometimes that you don’t care

You’re lost within yourself

I guess with eyes as sad as yours

You can’t see anyone else

I know that I’m in love with you

Though you’re not poetically sad

You’re not romantically delicate

Or broken, I might add

You’re just a little girl

Confused and out of place

With your head stuck in the toilet

And those scars taking up space

I'd like to heal you, break your chains

One after another

I stare at the back of your head 

Because I think we can save each other.
