When I see the word writer I immediately think about a professional writer, one who has been writing for an extremely long time. Then, I quickly realize that a writer can be anyone. You, me, we are all writers. Yes, there are certain rules when it comes to writing, but there are infinite styles of writing. When you put your pen on paper you immediately become a writer. What you have written is original and it belongs to you.

I know many people, including myself, see writing as something extremely difficult. In writing you will make mistakes but in the end those mistakes are what makes you a better writer. In order to move on to the next step in life you must fall and get back up again; the same thing applies when writing. Although you may consider you writing useless and not worthy of recognition, someone else may find true value in that one phrase or word you wrote. Writers go beyond the professional world into one of thoughts and emotions. So stop apologizing for what you write and just write.
