I dedicate this to my incredible class of 38

Where there’s more love than hate,

But that’s up for debate.

Just kidding, it’s all mostly love

It’s a group of which all of whom I’m extremely proud of

We’ve spent 14 long years at St. John’s school

Some might even consider it cruel

The class of 2016

Will never forget their proud years of wearing yellow, white and green

The hurricanes will forever remain in our hearts

It’ll just be broken into 38 parts

It is now time to start a clean new slate

Don’t look back, there’s no time to wait

10 amazing months living up to our name

Now burns the spark that ignited our flame

From this point on, things will never be the same

But we left a legacy impossible for any other to claim

This class literally brought the heat

With all the college acceptances, moments so bittersweet

Our class never failed to amaze

Since the day the color red invaded these hallways

For this last year I cannot complain

Anxiousness and excitement I will not contain

We are a family now and forever

Our memories will follow me wherever

Forget the reign? How about never.

Now it’s time for the chapter to end

Sadly, us kings and queens must begin to descend

Our title, however, we must always defend

Because now it’s college we have to attend

So all hail the champagne,

But, promise me you won’t go insane.

Raise your glasses in the air,

And look towards the future if you dare.

Always remember that we stand together,

Hand in hand, for always and forever.

That all of us will have each other’s backs

So mess with one and you’ll face the attacks

Believe in one another, now and later

And know that you’re all destined for something greater.

My lovely 38 it’s time for us to go

You’ll all succeed, of that I know

And let me just say that we most definitely stole the show.

Senior year flew by in just the blink of an eye,

I never thought the day would come, the time to say goodbye

Now it’s time to keep our heads held high

So hold back the tears and smile through the pain,

Long live the magnificent reign <3
