I get offended when people say, "Oh Football (soccer) is just a sport". Football to me is way more than that. The feelings and emotions that I feel due to Football cannot be explained by just saying "Its just a sport". It a lifestyle, its a religion, its a passion that cannot be tamed. Liverpool F.C. is my passion. Yesterday was a prime example of why I love Liverpool. 3-1 down, at home, needing to score 3 goals in order to advance to the semi finals, against a team that has only conceded 5 goals the whole season. The fact that Liverpool managed to get those three goals and advance to the semi-finals is incredible. But its Liverpool. Its the spirit of Istanbul that dramatically sealed one of the most historic comebacks of all time. Its Gerrard's goal vs Olympiakos in the last kick of the game. It simply is Liverpool. It is pure football, pure emotion, pure passion, and just pure love.
