I am afraid of many things such as the dark, needles, and bugs. New fears appear often and old ones resurface randomly. This week on Sabrina’s Fears: The Zombie Apocalypse. I have been afraid of this sci-fi nightmare ever since I saw World War Z. The zombie's strange super speed the way they acted like ants piling up on top of each other freaked me out. Its been a long time since I've seen that movie so its weird that this fear resurfaced. I was walking around my neighborhood at night with my mom because she wants to get me into exercise. Suddenly I think “oh my god what if a huge group of zombies pops out at the next corner....oh man what if another one comes from behind?”. Zombies aren't real. I'll probably (hopefully) be very dead if an actual zombie apocalypse happens. So why am I so afraid? Why do I find myself going about my daily business and then suddenly thinking “what would you do if the zombies came for you right now?” “die I guess”. Fears are so strange and irrational but they help us stay safe. Don't count on me to help you out if theres a zombie apocalypse though. I'll probably cry in a corner until one finds me and eats me.
