Frankie Cosmos is a band but also a stage name for singer/songwriter Greta Kline. Her songs are quiet, vulnerable, and powerful. Frankie Cosmos’ new album, Next Thing, (officially released on April 1) premiered a few days early on bandcamp and Ive had it on repeat since then. The whole thing feels so personal and intimate. Its like sitting in a big fuzzy room and immersing yourself in your introspective thoughts. Here are some of my favorite songs from the album and my favorite things about them:

Embody

So SWEET and TENDER.

“Everybody understands me, but I wish nobody understood me so you could be the one who did, embody all the grace and lightness”

Too Dark

This song feels really introverted (to me at least??). I can relate to it.

Tour Good

Simple phrases that paint a really nice picture of touring life.  

“up in morning, down at dawn, warm up vocals, sing a song, sit in car, read a book, rest stop, for chips i look, at you everyday”

Outside with the Cuties

The backing vocals, harmonies, and outro are so dreamy and beautiful. You feel like you are floating on a cloud.
