In Spanish class we watchted the trailer of Chris Rock's Good Hair documentary. He basically goes around and documents the procedures Afro-American women go through to get the hair society deems "beautiful." This cosmetic surgeries seem so painful and it sickens me because I love volumoius, curly hair. I should not be talking because I always do laser treatments, and that hurts a lot. But I don't know this is hair on your head, not on your body; it's different. The hair you rock should not tint you as ugly or not beautiful. The fact the society even judges the beauty of a woman through their hair is terrible and appalling.
