Sheila is a 32 year old accountant from Perth, Australia. All of her life, she has been fascinated with numbers and excelled when it came to mathematics. Not only did she love math, but her favorite past time was organizing her things and making sure everything was where it was suppose to be. She wanted to find a job that combined both of these passions and the logical job that came to mind was accounting. After high school, she attended Curtin University and got her degree in accounting. For the next ten years, Sheila literally spent all of her time being an accountant for different people of all social classes and working with numbers. She loved what she did, but one day, she decided to do something spontaneous. All of her life, she had worked hard to be able to achieve her goal of becoming an accountant. Since she had accomplished this goal, she wanted to challenge herself even more. She made a list of all possible activities that she could come up with. The list was composed of activities ranging from sky diving to something as simple as getting a small tattoo. After thinking about it, she knew something generic such as bungee jumping or sky diving was not going to satisfy her. She wanted to do something outside of the box and that only a few people would think of or even try fulfilling.
After that thought, she started looking into things that were outside of her comfort zone. She hated the cold, so hiking up a mountain would be out of the question. She had had a horrible experience with a canoe so going through river rapids would be out of the equation completely. After a few days, she could still not think about what it was she wanted to do. Then, it happened. Sheila was walking her beloved dog Roxy down the street of her neighborhood when she noticed a local competition ad on a sidewalk light pole. It was no simple competition, this involved three months of preparation and constant exercising. The competition was to run, jog, or walk all of Australia in four days. This was perfect for her. The starting point would be at Sydney and the competitors would work their way from there. Finally, the day came. Sheila had done vigorous training for this event and felt very much prepared. The first fifty miles were completed easily but she still had a long way to go.
Following her rest at a small motel, her next hassle was completing the trek through the outback. Not only would it be hot, but there was really no place to stop and rest for the night. Also, the big dilemma of having no water but the supply she would take in her little rolling pack, which carrying the pack itself was a job in its own. But these problem did not faze her. She was going to accomplish the goal no matter what. After twenty minutes of jogging, almost reaching the middle of the outback, Sheila started noticing something big and grey in the midst of all the orange. It was a bus and it seemed to have broken down. She did not pay much attention to it for she could not help the people in anyway. Also, she was to concentrated on the race to even think about anything else. However, she did notice some colorful feathers peeking out from the back of the bus…
