Dog Lover

If I had to choose between cats and dogs, dogs would win every time. No question. It's not just that I've had dogs as pets my entire life, but it's more to do with the nature of cats. Felines are unpredictable. You never know how they're feeling or how they might react to anything. You can't just pick one up and expect to cuddle with it because it might claw you. Cats are indifferent, merciless. They're the sociopaths of the animal world. Ever since I was a little girl, I've always had many dogs. The compassion and joy they express and evoke in me is unparalleled. All they want is to love and be loved in return. Keep them safe and they will devote themselves to the same cause for you. My dogs have always been there for me whether I'm sick, in pain, angry, sad, or happy. They just know what to say! Dogs are the most empathetic creatures, and it's just by nature. My dogs are my rocks, and I couldn't be more thankful for their presence in my life. Some of my dogs have left me but in my house their spirits are still there. I went from 2 to 9 to 8 to 10 to 14 to 13 to 12 to 11 to 10 to 9. They're Amy, Grace, Rontu, Matt, Harry, Hermione, Maddie, London, and Allen. I have come to know them so well and love each so fiercely that I can distinguish them by their barks. Even now, as they sit around the house patiently waiting for me to finish my homework, I know that they will come upstairs with me and make sure I'm fine before going to sleep. So yeah, if I had to pick a loyal and kind animal, dogs would win without a doubt.
