I would much rather be blind than deaf. Yes, loosing my sight would be terrible, but not being able to hear? I believe that would be even worse. Not being able to listen to music anymore would destroy me. I cannot picture a world of not hearing my mother's laugh, and the laugh of everybody I love for that matter. Plus, when the time comes that I have a baby, I cannot fathom how sad I would be to not be able to hear the first time he/she says "mama." Without sight I can at least feel any person, place, or thing in subsitute, I can't find that with audio.

P.S. I completely forgot about hearing aid for this prompt.
