I was rejected by my top choice. I knew in the back of my head that I was not going to get in because my numbers were not good enough for them, but I think what the school did not get to see was my passion for what I want to study; and how if I would have been admitted I would have attended the school with no doubt in my mind. Now there is nothing I can do and I have gotten over it pretty quickly. I am happy for my friends that did get in. Sure, it might bother me a bit when the name is mentioned, but the fact is that I am more happy for my friends than I am sad about myself. People should not be sensitive about mentioning it around me, I will be Ok, I promise.

P.S. Congrats to all of my classmates who have gotten into college!
