Get Out of My Way

As the people of America enjoy their Thanksgiving dinner with their families, many cannot stop thinking of the next day. Of the day of chaos and disorder. During Thanksgiving, millions of people give thanks for everything they have and realize how it is enough. They enjoy their time with the closest people in their lives and stuff their stomachs until they can't breathe. Many people dont sleep the whole Thanksgiving day, others sleep the whole day. Many people are looking forward to this day rather than to Thanksgiving. They fill their wallets with some rectangular green paper that will soon be gone.

There is a point of the night of Thanksgiving day where the mentality of people change completely. Where people turn into some sort of monster, or animal. What has been taught since the beginning of man completely goes to waste within these hours. It is not just a small group of people, it is most of the citizens of the United States. It is like a switch in the human body that turns on after eating a certain amount of turkey. Maybe it was inherited from the Pilgrims at the time of Thanksgiving. As these animals begin to get together, things get violent, the animals begin to attack each other. As these stores open their doors very early in the morning, people attack. They completely forget of their thankfulness for everything they have in their lives and desperately feel as if they do not have enough. The stores have big numbers outside their doors which seems to attract these desperate animals into their place to fill their carts of things no one would ever need in their lives. As time passes, and the turkey decomposes, the animals are tamed and become humans again. They soon realize they spent more than what they could have ever thought of and swear to never do it again. The news and social media is flooded with thousands of fights that make people question the purpose of this tradition.

The monstrosity of Americans is soon forgotten as they settle for some other holiday where stores are filled again. People soon forget about their regrets of this day and live their life until the turkey gets ahold of them once again and turns them into the monster they always do. When visiting America, it is recommended to stay away from consuming so much turkey in one day.
