Woke up.

Got out of bed.

Checked phone for any messages.

None? Okay.

Walked to the bathroom.

Did my business.

Brushed my teeth to clean perfection.

Changed into clothes.

Put on deodorant.

Put on perfume.

Smells nice.

Looked around the room.

Spotted my class ring on the night table.

“Don’t forget to put it on!”

Got distracted with making sure to have a spare unifoirm and 

making sure every book and notebook made it.

Slung on the strap and held onto the computer.

Walked out and forgot ring was in plain sight.

…10 hours later…

Closed the garage door. 

Just arrived from school. 

Walked to the kitchen. 

Got myself a bottle of water. 

Made my way to my room. 

Everything was moved. 

A man had come to check on a water problem. 

Looked to my bedside table. 

Checked under every corner of the room. 

Panicked, cried, went into hysteria. 

The ring was gone.
