Jeff and Sally were stuck in the elevator in complete silence. They were not even looking at each other. All you could hear was the possible murmuring of the people on the different floors trying to fix the problem.
"So what's up?" Jeff said with no enthusiasm in his voice.
"Not much." Sally answered reluctantly without trying to continue the conversation.
Sally really did not have much to say to Jeff after what happened last summer. She did want to say so many things at the same time, though, but she wanted to be the bigger person so she kept quiet because she was not the one that was going to apologize. After all it was his fault, although you could say that they were both stubborn.
"Same," Jeff replied, yet it was obvious that he was itching to say something. Nothing would come out of his mouth. He would open it to try and say something, but then he would close it knowing that if he said anything the bomb would go off.
