So I had to pick a word from a bucket and write about it in my notebook for about 10 minutes. There was only one problem; my word was "evanesce." Evanesce? I had absolutely no idea what that word meant. Could it mean extreme beauty or to shrink into nothingness? Maybe it meant to disappear forever or to vanish for eternity. It gave me a mysterious vibe. I don't know why, but it made me think of a galaxy, something eternal. I was debating whether or not to find out the actual definition. I didn't want to ruin the illusion in my head. I was so satisfied with not knowing the definition because I really liked my own interpretation of it. I decided later on to go on dictionary.com to see the actual meaning. Turns out it actually means "to disappear gradually; vanish; fade away." My definition was a little bit more dramatic. Nonetheless, I figured out the meaning on my own.
