I have never been the best writer and I would like to improve. I can put a name on an excellent writer: Ivia. Her writing is amazing I have never read anything that is a rough draft yet so juicy and encapturing. Anyway, back to me. Being a good writer is like the polaroid sensation/ description in the book Bird by Bird. When I read the chapter, I was intrigued by the way the author described a lunch scene and a polaroid picture of the cafeteria was fading in, not fading out. The description was so detailed and descriptive that every corner of the picture on my head had something interesting in it. Even the cracks in the picture in my head caught my attention. I want to form images like mine in other's heads. If someone writes well the reader will attain a perfect image in their head.
