It's cool to be nice.
Insulting people doesn't make you better than anyone. Looking down on them doesn't lift you up either. Being an asshole doesn't fill the voids of your vapid personality.
Wake up every morning with a hand to lend and a heart to live. Respect everyone and smile at everything. Being nice to that stranger on the street or in the hallway won't make you seem any less awesome than you already are. Giving a hug to your same-sex friend won't make you seem gay or lesbian. Cherishing the people you love and the life you live doesn't make you childish or naive. It makes you lively and pleasant.
Hating things to make you seem more deep isn't cool. Liking things that everybody likes isn't uncool. Be true to yourself and stop trying to impress people. Stop trying to be something you're not. That will only exhaust you and make you cranky. And, after all, nobody wants to be around the uptight prick that bitches about everything.
Remember. It's cool to be nice.
