Kvon was flying through the city, defending its citizens from bad people, when suddenly, out of nowhere, attacked Desi - Kvon's arch-nemesis. They exchanged punches and just before Kvon could deliver his final blow, Desi pulled out a pack of cigarettes which rendered Kvon powerless.

Since Kvon had finished taking the PSAT, he had a lot of free time, and started to hang out with some sketchy people, from whom he picked up smoking. Shortly afterward, he was hooked - a chainsmoker at merely 18 years of age.

Henceforth, he tried to quit his addiction, but failed. There wasn't enough nicotine gum in the world to quench his thirst. So when Kvon was shown the pack of cigarettes, he couldn't help but smoke them all at once.

Meanwhile, Desi was busy taking over the city.
