What do you think of when you think of home?

You told me the stars in Chile were the brightest of them all and that the color blue reminded you of the summers in Greece kissing the girl with the scrapped knees. You know about lust and desire and liking someone but not really loving them. You know why the streets are built a certain way and the physics behind maintaining your balance when you just want to fall.

You know that the first thing you forget about a person is the sound of their voice and that your grandfather spent his last few days trying to remember who he was before he was nothing. You know about first loves and the feeling when someone sees you naked for the first time. I guess I can even say you know about making love or something that wishes to be called that.

But I don't think you know about loving someone so much your insides hurt. I don't think you know about loving someone so much that  you start to hate them. Or that there's something warm about coming home and knowing where to go.

No, I don't think you know about that.
