There's this big blue sky, there's this bright sun, there's that crystal blue ocean right there so close to the both of us. There are millions of little stars right above us, and for the first time, they are only shining for me. There's all this beauty in the world and I don't need you next to me to see it because it is all there for me to enjoy by myself.

Thank you. Because after all the disappointment and ache that you made me feel, I'm able to live for myself.

Thank you, for always saying no to the things I wanted the most because it made me look for them myself. It made me fearless.

All this time I thought I might have loved you, but you showed me that I could have never been with you in the first place.

You taught me how to appreciate things for myself and how to live by my standards because all this time you've been doing just that. You're the example I will follow when I reach for the stars.

So thank you, for allowing me to see that I could do it, too.
